Biography
Born 1964 Lorelei Jenner is a New Zealand artist based in Christchurch whose works are haunting and evocative in a unique style of comic gothic and romantic realism. Lorelei travelled extensively as a child, attending schools in Australia, Britain and New Zealand. She completed a 'Diploma in Visual Arts' in 1991 at CPIT, Christchurch.

Lorelei has written and illustrated a book called The Colourful & Slightly Exaggerated Life of Edith Merleau-Ponty Published by The Spencer Burford Group, Australia, due to be released in 2007. The book’s central character, Edith, is a quirky, engaging, young woman who has unfailing optimism and enthusiasm for all things cultural, contemporary and exotic.
